Going the wrong way!!!
Water. Strength training, if you are lifting heavy, damages muscle. Then it repairs itself, stronger. It's how strength training works. It's also why you aren-t supposed to lift heavy two days in a row. At least, not woring the same muscles. But you retain a lot of water in the process.
It's not new muscle yet, just strengthening the existing muscles. You can't grow new muscles while in a large calorie deficit. But strength training will preserve more muscle mass while you are losing weight.
Jus****er. Once you get adjusted to the new exercise regime, the weight will start coming off again.

I'm just so anxious to start living my life. losing the first 100+ has given me a taste of it and i just want to hurry and and get there. There is so much out there i want to do.
Last week I weighed one day and had gained 2 lbs. I was wondering how that could have happened. The next day I weighed and was down 1 lb from what I was before I gained the 2 lbs. Chin up honey. You can do this!!!

I strength train, on average, 4-5 days a week and do RPM cycling class 3-4 days a week. My weight has been the same for several months +/- 5 pounds always, but I've lost like 3 clothing sizes. I actually didn't even know that until I forced myself to wear tighter clothes. My husband makes fun of me because I have that habit of wearing comfy stretchy clothes and those kinda go for several sizes. I didn't know I could wear a 4/6 until recently.
I don't weigh everyday but I look at my body changes. Every time I weigh, I usually get mad at myself because I do all this exercise and eat right. I thought about weighing everyday and have asked that here before, but after I tried, it didn't go too well for me. Keeping track of my nutrients on My Fitness Pal and just noticing changes in my own strength/body over time is what I am focusing on because I do weigh like 165ish, but 120 of it is muscle (I did one of those tests over the summer to see). I just try to keep that in perspective.

Another thing to consider is that you have lost 100 pounds since surgery 5 months ago! That is a lot. Your body needs to readjust sometimes. Stick with your eating plan--it will continue to come off. It may go more slowly now.
Grim once recommended a site that I really like: TrendWeight. Although not technically an app, it works like one--I have even set up a button for it on my iPad. The TrendWeight site owner has written an algorithm that smooths the curve of your weight loss over time. It helps you see when daily or weekly weight fluctuations are just blips, or when they represent a real change in your direction. If you have a wireless scale (like a FitBit Aria), you can set up your TrendWeight dashboard to pull that data automatically.
It is super-duper easy to set up and use. Like, 5-10 minutes of your time. I love it.
It will happen, just have patience. This is a lifetime change and the more you lose, the more slowly it ends up going. Just stay the course and keep doing all the right things. Even when the scale has stopped for me, clothes have been getting smaller.

Stalls happen.... stick with it and you will get past it, all sounds good. 2 pounds is not a gain, it is a fluctuation...
